~Hit The Beach~ This tutorial is for those who have working knowledge with Paint Shop Pro. This tutorial used a beautiful PTU Tagger Kit from A Taggers Scrap called: Sand Between My Toes This kit is available in the Stargazers Scraps Sand Between My Toes Collab from June 15th-July 14th. A Taggers Scrap: HERE *Tube: Joy Of Music by Elias Chatzoudis This is a paid to use Tube and must be purchased with a license. Mine was purchased at MPT, But his work is now only available only at PSP Tubes Emporium. You can purchase his fabulous artists work: HERE *Font: PonytailScriptSSK. This is a FTU Font and can be snagged: Here *Template: Here This adorable template is by Dees'SignDepot. (Please leave her some love when you snag!) *Supplies: (Personal Use Only) Mask: HERE Right click and save mask to your hard drive, then hit back on your browser to go back to tutorial. Premade Mask provided is created from a Becky, who's site is no longer around, but it's called: Becky_Mask034. The paper used from the kit is: paper4
Open up Dee's Hit_The_Beach Teplate Save as your tag name. Hide the top copyright layer. Go to the very bottom of the template layers, click on BG (Background) Layer to make active. Copy and paste your mask provided in the supplies as a new layer. It should show above the BG Layer. Click on the black strip layer of the template to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat: Flood Fill with paper9. Paper is scaled down to 80%. Click on the white strip layer of the template to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat: Flood Fill with paper5. Paper is scaled down to 80%. Click on the outer orange circle layer of the template to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat: Flood Fill with a gradient. I used the default Gradient settings, with Foreground color code: #35531e (Dark Green) And Background color code: #77a02a (Light Green) Click on the outer white circle layer of the template to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat: Flood Fill with paper6. (Paper is scaled down to 60% to show more details.) Click on the yellow circle layer of the template to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat: Flood Fill with paper4. (Paper is scaled down to 60% to show more details.) Click on the inner yellow circle layer of the template to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat: Flood Fill with paper9. (Paper is scaled down to 60% to show more details.) Now open Jo's Sand Between Your Toes Tagger Kit. Now choose your elements of choice from the kit, I used: the net element, copy and paste as a new layer. Use your pick tool and drag to the bottom of your tag, position as if it's at the bottom of the yellow circle layer of the template. Now click on the yellow circle layer to make active. Select All, Float, Defloat, Invert. Now click on the net layer to make active. Hit Delete on your keyboard. Now Deselect. *To Deselect, top tool bar, selections, select none. (This should have made the excess of the net removed.) See mine to reference. Open up the lifepreserver2 element from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. This layer should be above your inner yellow circle you just worked with. Open up the walkway element from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Drag underneath your life preserver layer. Now click on the life preserver layer to make active. Use your magic want tool and click on the outside of the life preserver. Now click on the walkway to make active Hit delete on your keyboard. Now Deselect. (This will create an effect that the walkway in within the life preserver) See mine to reference. Open up the wave element from the kit, Copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 60%. Move this layer underneath your your walkway layer. Duplicate Once, Merge. Duplicate Again. Mirror. Use your pick tool to move in towards the other wave. Open up the grass element from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 50%. Drag this layer up above your life preserver layer. Position on the right side. Duplicate, Mirror. Use your pick tool to adjust on the left side. Open up the flower1 element from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 15%. And do the same steps. Position as you like. See mine to reference. Open up the string2 from the kit. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 65%. Use your pick tool and rotate as needed to line up with the lifesaver element. See mine to reference. Copy and paste the sand element from the kit. Drag to the bottom of the life saver element. See mine to reference. Now copy and paste any other elements from the kit you might like. I used: fishnshells, resize by 30%. Positioned to the left on the sand. shell3, resize by 15%. Positioned to the bottom right on the sand. starfish2, resized by 20%, position by the grass, right side. butterfly, resized by 15%. Sharpen Once. Duplicate 3x. Position as you like on the right. See mine to reference. bubbles, use you pick tool and rotate to the match the white strip layer of the template. This (bubbles) should be at the very top of your layers. See mine to reference. Add any more goodies you might like from the kit. Now Copy and paste a tube of your choice. I used Joy Of Music by Elias Chatzoudis Copy and paste as new layer. Resize By 90%. Position at the bottom/center. See mine to reference. Now add your name to the tag, I used font WaterBrushRob. Font size 24, Stroke Width 1. Foreground: paper4 and Background Color Code: #77a02a. Add any drop shadows you prefer to the elements, name, etc. Now add your copyrights and watermark. Crop your tag to get rid of any access space. Then resize to your preference. Save as a JPG with the white background or hide the main white (BG) background layer and save as a PNG (for transparent background) You are now done! Thank you for trying my tutorial!
